| The collection of dramatist and
writer V.Protopopov (1866-1916) contains various theatrical documents.
In 1912 the catalogue of his library was published. It includes 2161 books
and scripts. V.Protopopov collection was presented after his death to the
Theatrical Library by his widow.
The repertoire of the Russian stage in the early XXth century is fairly
fully represented in the 'K.P.Larin Northern Theatrical Library' collection,
which consists mainly of editions used as working copies in the theatres.
Many of them contain notes added while the play was being produced.
